Altium's NanoBoard 1 and NB2 architecture is unique in that the target programmable device is housed on a plug-in swappable Daughter board. This enables you to easily change the project's target architecture, providing a device and vendor-independent development platform.
This template implements the interface between the NanoBoard and an NB1/NB2 2-connector Daughter board, using 100-pin high-reliability connectors. It also includes the Daughter board PCB, complete with height constraints and a STEP model for the Daughter board cover.
NanoBoard System Summary
Altium's NanoBoard series of development boards enhances your ability to design, implement and debug an entire FPGA-based system design before moving to a production PCB. Use the NanoBoard as a system prototyping and development platform, as an educational hands-on teaching tool, as a complete test bed for FPGA-based embedded system design, or even as part of your deliverable product. Its power, flexibility and tight integration with the Altium Designer software delivers a new approach to FPGA-based embedded system development.
